About ER Custom Woodworking

ER Custom Woodworking’s passion for woodworking ignited during his teenage years, setting him on a path toward a career in custom craftsmanship. Fresh out of high school, he was fortunate to secure a position at a charming mom-and-pop shop nestled in the heart of Oregon’s Red Hills wine country. There, he apprenticed for several years, honing his skills in the art of crafting custom wine tasting bars, furniture, and cabinetry for upscale homes.

After 13 years of hands-on experience in design and fabrication, and the determination to grow, he returned to school to pursue an engineering degree. Upon graduating, he spent over a decade working as an engineer. Pursuing woodworking projects on the side, he found myself longing to once again transform beautiful wood into stunning, functional pieces.
